Trong các bài post trên mọi người sẽ thấy có sự xuất hiện của dải băng với 2 màu đen & da cam - "Георгиевская ленточка" tượng trưng cho màu của lửa và khói, là biểu tượng lòng dũng cảm của người lính Nga ngoài chiến trường.
Tại Nga kể từ năm 2005 nhân kỉ niệm ngày 9/5 từ ngày 29/4 đến ngày 12/5 có "hoạt động quần chúng" lớn cũng với tên gọi là "«Георгиевская ленточка»". Tuy nhiên cũng có những ý kiến trái chiều về hoạt động này (do rất nhiều người dân buộc vào ăng-ten xe oto buộc vào cổ tay, đỉa quần, túi xách, đính vào khuy áo, v.v:emoticon-0127-lipss )
